Her father explained that since the man had likely been in an accident, now he was no longer able to work to support his family. Rebecca asked her dad how much a leg cost and he told her $100. She asked him for $100 and gave it to the man, telling him it was for his new leg, so he could work and support himself and his family. This childhood incident set her up for a lifetime of compassion for people and evidenced an early, deep desire to help others live their best lives.
From Hospitality Roots to Cross-Industry Impact
Rebecca’s journey began with over 13 years in People Services (HR) across the hospitality and travel sectors, holding senior leadership roles at brands like Wynn & Encore Las Vegas, Marriott Hotels, and Allegiant Airlines. At Pinnacle Entertainment, she drove HR strategy for 16,000+ employees during a $2.8B merger with Boyd Gaming and Penn National Gaming.
